Testimonials

What our clients say…

Thank you for addressing our property access issue.

Your approach to our problem was both clear, logical and affordable.

The effort you and your family, Katrina and Josh put in, from explaining the process through

to design, construction and installation was only exceeded by your kindness and willingness

to go the extra mile, for no other purpose than to ensure we were satisfied customers – which indeed, we are.

Anyone contemplating a safe, enduring bridge at an affordable price must talk with you!

We can’t thank you enough and would unhesitatingly recommend you to anyone in a situation similar to ours.

As evidence of the ‘before’ and ‘after’ I have included a couple of photos.

Yours sincerely

Richard Houghton testimony

What fantastic job well done – our new 18m bridge is great.

Our old bridge was failing, the abutments were sinking and the structure was twisting plus we were regularly getting flooded in. Collapse was imminent. We replaced it in the back end of 2017.

We looked at various options and Quigley’s Farm Bridges clearly came out on top, better price, superior product and easy Resource Consent & Building Consent, strongest bridge of any of the suppliers, cleverest design and minimal disruption. It was the obvious choice.

Stuart & Katrina were a pleasure to deal with, did a fantastic job and have left behind a superior bridge which we can fully expect to be pretty well maintenance free for many year. The clever design meant we could minimise the height of the approaches, installation was quick and we have a bridge that is nigh on indestructible.

I cannot recommend Quigley’s Farm Bridges highly enough.

Hi Stuart and Katrina,

In 1999 we needed a bridge to gain access to our new property in Whitehall, near Cambridge. After a search around different operators we settled on Katrina and Stuart Quigley to build our single 11 metre span. The whole job went smoothly from initial site inspection to quote to the actual build. The bridge looks strong and will be there forever, and in 2003 when a flash flood upstream produced a torrent that went over the top and nothing moved, we knew it was indeed as strong as it looked. We have already recommended the Quigley’s to others in the market for solid, well-built bridges at a fair price.

Graeme and Julie Milne.

We have had five bridges built on our property by the Quigley family over the past ten years. Katrina and Stuart are both `hands on’ people and when they built our first bridge in 2002 their three children were also out there `doing it’. On consequent bridges their children have also helped as required, they operate a great family business!!

We chose their company as they gave us a complete package, from the initial inspection of the site, discussion, design and build, leaving with the site ready for immediate use.

The pricing and time frames were as quoted and because they are farmers themselves they were completely aware and understanding that milking and farm activities needed to continue.

Their bridges are to standards which allows us to access all areas of the farm without any concerns of weight restrictions.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the Quigley’s for your bridging requirements.

Diane & Pete Miedema,

We had a farm access bridge installed by the Quigley team in 2004.
It was quite a tricky site as the old rusty one had to be craned  out from between tall poplars and the new concrete one  carefully placed onto concrete abutments spanning quite a deep  riverbed.
We were very impressed with the efficiency and  professionalism of the Quigley family team.
We now have a roadworthy farm access which is standing the test of time through the winter deluges & rapidly rising river levels.
We would certainly recommend this friendly team for a great job at a competitive price.

A great job well done!
Dave and Beverley,

Stuart and Katrina recently replaced an old bridge for me over the Mangaokewa river, span 20 metres.

They did an excellent job. Design was good, erection was on time and quick so there was minimal disruption to our access.

On top of that, their price was exactly as quoted and was very reasonable.
I definitely would recommend them.

Bill Symonds,

To whom it may concern,
Quigley family built us an extremely strong pre-cast concrete bridge in 2000, capable of carrying heavy commercial vehicles. The work was completed on time. Their price was real cheap compared with other quotes. We would have no hesitation using their services again as the bridge is just the same now as when it was built. We would happily recommend their conscientious work to anyone as it was great to see a happy family at work.

Hi guys Greg here. Sorry I was away when you came. Kat said how professional you were and that it was great how much info and advice you gave.

We have made some pretty big decisions business wise so we have decided to delay building the bridge. Please be assured when we do build it will be through Quigley’s as you stood out amongst your peers.

Thank you for the quote. Obviously time will change the amount required but we were very happy with the quote.

Again thank you for your time and we will talk to you in the future.

To whom it may concern

Several years ago we had Quigley’s build us a bridge on our dairy farm here at Te Pahu.

We found both Stuart and Katrina excellent to deal with regarding all aspects from start to finish with our bridge project.

There workmanship and expertise in bridge building is of a very high standard.

They also went out of their way to do an extra small job for us with no charge, which we really appreciated.

Please feel free to contact us if we can be of any assistance.

To whom it may concern

We have a forestry block near Taupo and the existing timber bridge was very adequate for normal farm traffic, however with harvesting on the horizon a strong and safe alternative was required.  Stuart and Katrina came out over a weekend and we discussed concrete bridges.

I found them easy to relate to, a practical, down to earth family business so with prices confirmed, paperwork sorted and dates of construction the bridge went ahead most satisfactory and the driveway either side refurbished with metal and graded very tidily.

I felt very pleased with this project from start ot finish and have no hesitation in supplying this testimonial.

Yours Sincerely,

A S Rowlands

We approached Katrina and Stuart Quigley as we realised that we needed to up grade our bridge which was in the centre of the farm.  This bridge was wooden resting on steel girders and had to take stock and tractors daily.  We had decided concrete was the way to go.  Quigley’s were extremely helpful.  After the financial commitment was completed their attitude to “SERVICE” was really tremendous, it was no trouble to work in the time frame when no stock needed to cross.  They arrived with a plan, knew what they needed to do and worked with care and confidence.

We have no hesitation in recommending to you, the Quigley Family if you need a bridge that meets all safety regulations.

Yours Sincerely

To Whom It May Concern

After a farm bridge collapse due to a topdressing truck accident, we were in a hurry to erect a new bridge and have access again to an important part of the farm.

We had one quote then we remembered a new tanker bridge down the road and found Quigley’s had made and installed it.  Their quote was very acceptable and the whole job did not exceed the original quoted price.

The bridge is very strong, placed on strong abutments, with high strong side rails and concrete nib sides.  It’s a beautiful bridge.

The Quigley’s are very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasant team to work with.

To Whom It May Concern

In 2002 Quigley’s constructed a farm access bridge on our Hikuai property which is located on the coromandel Peninsula.  To gain access to a newly developed area of the farm we requie a bridge to be constructed, this needed to be robust enough to allow heavy machineary across and easy flow for a large herd of cows.  Quigley’s designed and built the bridge gaining all planning consents and permits required, this was all done to a very high standard without costly delays.  This bridge has served us extremely well for the last 10 years and we would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart Quigley for your bridging needs.

Yours Sincerely, Trevor Jury
